See notes below for two new Canon cameras that tether. Nikon tethering still requires Rosetta at this time. This means you don’t have to relaunch to use Rosetta emulation. If you’re using an M1/M2 Mac, Canon tethering is now natively supported. If you’d like it to stay on screen, disable Auto Hide Masking Panel in the … menu at the bottom of Masks panel. Rather than finding and removing them individually, there are two new commands in the mask’s … menu in the Masks panel: Delete Empty Mask and Delete All Empty Masks.īy default, the Masks panel hides itself when you’re editing a mask. Empty masks aren’t a problem, but they are a bit untidy. For example, if you have a preset that includes an AI-based Sky mask, and you apply it to an indoor photo that has no sky, an empty mask is created in the Masks panel. When you sync settings across multiple photos or paste settings, it’s possible to end up with empty masks. The Reset Sliders Automatically checkbox has also moved to the top of the panel, rather than being hidden at the bottom. The eye icons also come in handy if you have some of the panels closed, because the icon is highlighted if any sliders aren’t at 0. To temporarily hide a masking slider panel’s adjustments, click and hold on its eye icon. If you’re a fan of Solo Mode, which automatically closes a panel when you open another one, you’ll be pleased to know it works on these panels too. ( Note there are still some Ventura-specific issues).12.1 is otherwise looking really good, the most stable release in years!.Auto Sync copies previous crop from before AutoSync was enabled
